My bike's at the local expert's shop this morning having Wilbers manual shocks installed. I'm really looking forward to a better (solo) ride than the ESA shocks offer. I've found that the ESA shocks work great two up, but solo I'm disappointed. I'll report on the install and a ride report in the next few days. If it goes as I hope, it will be a great third option for installation after Beemer Shop on the west coast and the guy in Florida. Pricing is comparable to the other two shops.
I'm sure those wanting the Wilbers ESA conversion will be able to get them from the Austin guy. I happen to prefer manual adjustment; it's just a personal preference, not a starting point for a debate (I hope).
